The Inpatient Pain Service at many corporate sector hospitals in Hyderabad is part of Axon, where we manage acute post-operative and post-trauma pain. We work collaboratively with Medical, Surgical and Radiation Oncology to manage cancer pain. In the cancer pain setting, Axon’s major role is in the provision of procedural interventions.
At Axon we pride ourselves in providing the highest standard of quality care with the most technologically advanced treatments available today for the treatment of your pain such as - radio-frequency ablation, spinal cord stimulator and spinal drug delivery pump. Our pain education programme, Shambhala, unique to South Asia, will involve all our experts along with Tai-Chi, Yoga and Pilates.

Palliative Care
Palliative care is a treatment model where we focus on the care of patients with chronic and progressive diseases, including cancer, AIDS, advanced diseases of the heart, lungs, kidney and liver and neuro-degenerative diseases such as dementia. Palliative care includes a broad range of interventions that will help you and your family members maintain a good quality of life while living with a disease. A visitor to Axon, with advanced illness will have his or her comfort ensured, personal values and decisions respected, and the family/loved ones supported.
Your referring physician will still remain in charge of your care, and palliative care does not stop you from receiving any other medical therapies. The Palliative Care service at Axon offers a specialized interdisciplinary program that can provide assessment and management by a team of healthcare practitioners.
