Akshaya Patra started its mid day meal programme in June, 2000 by providing free mid-day meals to 1, 500 children. TAPF is an NGO for children, provides mid day meal to government and government aided school children in India to stop classroom hunger.
Making a mid-day meal donation for children can be done in many ways. You can help the organisation procure a delivery vehicle. It is the kind of mid-day meal donation that will help Akshaya Patra reach out to the children with fresh cooked food on time. You can make donate kitchen equipment too and enhance productivity. Sponsoring a school for year or more is another way of donation on mid-day meal.
